Unit Description:
- As a Surgical/Pediatric ICU Nurse you’ll have the opportunity to treat patients with every type of trauma, including burns. Our 25-bed combination SICU/PICU is an exciting and vibrant unit to work on. We firmly value teamwork and our support system is strong and continuous. We have a low turnover rate, which speaks volumes about our staff and their willingness to work together for our patients.
- We support continued education and highly endorse certification and membership in the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. We encourage participation in Critical Care conferences and we have many learning opportunities in the unit in the form of in-services and presentations. Our nurses also have the opportunity to advance through the Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP).
 
EDUCATION:
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required. ADN required, BSN preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Appropriate experience in ICU. Greater than one year of RN experience.
On-call: Not required.
