SIGN ON BONUS:

$10,000 to $15,000 </> 3yr direct experience

Amounts reflect gross pay, prior to applicable tax withholdings and deductions required by law.

RELOCATION BONUS:

$8,200 MANAGED BUDGET AND $1,000 CASH ALLOWANCE (For those further than a 50 mile radius)

** May consider Senior Sonographer to be trained within 6 months.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Advanced Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasounds and other required modalities within individual department(s). Examinations are performed independently, under physician supervision, and with peer collaboration as is appropriate.

The Advanced Sonographer also helps to mentor and educate all levels of staff. The Advanced Sonographer possesses the applicable credentials to the departmental role. Advanced Sonographer fulfills the necessary and applicable time and experience requirements related to the position. Eligibility to remain as an advanced sonographer is determined at a yearly evaluation based on fulfillment of job responsibilities throughout the prior year.

EDUCATION:

Current: high school graduate or equivalent accredited ultrasound program preferred or extensive on-the-job training. Must be certified in applicable skill areas as defined for department.

EXPERIENCE:

Advanced Sonographer possesses the required experience defined within the career ladder of the associated department.
