Job Details
The Network Epic/Application Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting and maintaining software essential to business operations. This position focuses on the Revenue Cycle components of electronic health record (EHR) systems and third-party applications. The analyst works collaboratively with end-users, vendors, and internal Information Services teams to support these applications and ensure the seamless integration of vendor software into the network’s revenue cycle operations, enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
This role offers flexibility, with opportunities for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate across teams to facilitate process improvements and resolve system issues.
- Provide 24/7 support coverage to ensure uninterrupted system operations.
- Travel occasionally to UVM Health Network locations to support consistent application performance and user needs.
Qualifications
- Experience with Epic systems, particularly in Billing and HIM modules, as well as third-party applications.
- Demonstrated IT-as-a-service mindset with a focus on delivering value and support to stakeholders.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Healthcare industry experience.
Additional Requirements
- Participation in shift coverage and an on-call rotation to maintain continuous system functionality.
- Epic certification required or achieved within 120 days of hire with a maximum of three attempts. EXPERIENCE: 5 or more years
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or formal technical training or equivalent experience.
