Unit Description

Per Diem experienced oncology nurse to support both solid and/or hematologic cancer teams. The Ambulatory RN II works within a care team that specializes in specific cancer diagnoses. Per diem RN would work towards learning the multiple cancer diagnoses to be able to work with each of the care teams as needs arise. Strong communication skills, telephone triage, patient communication, and organization essential for this role.

EXPERIENCE:

1 year experience in relevant clinical area and/or independent in all areas of the Ambulatory RN I accountabilities.

OCN RN preferred.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
  • ADN required, BSN preferred
  • Appropriate experience in specific clinical area.  Varies by unit.
