Unit Description: At University of Vermont Health – Elizabethtown Community Hospital, we offer easy access and a comfortable setting for administering intravenous medications, blood, fluids and other infusion therapies.
Common infusions at the center include:
Blood transfusions
Biological treatments for rheumatoid arthritis
Crohn’s disease
Gout
Iron replacement therapy
Multiple sclerosis (MS)
Osteoporosis
Plaque psoriasis
Ulcerative colitis
Additional drugs and therapeutic agents infused for other needs may be accommodated.
On-Call: Not Required
