Alice Hyde Medical Center – Primary Care Pediatrics
The Alice Hyde Medical Center team is excited to welcome a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pediatrics Primary Care practice.
This full‑time (1.0 FTE), exempt, Monday–Friday role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of children and families in a warm, community‑centered environment. As part of our pediatric team, you’ll help expand access to primary and preventive services while building trusted relationships through high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
Practice Environment
Outpatient pediatrics with patient volumes averaging 15–18 visits per day
A mix of independent practice and closely connected teamwork
Supportive leadership and a long‑standing history of provider stability
What We’re Looking For
NP or PA with strong interest in pediatrics
2–3 years of experience preferred
New graduates with pediatric exposure are encouraged to apply
Commitment to compassionate, family‑centered care
Ability to provide care independently while thriving in a collaborative environment
Schedule & Work Expectations
Weekends:
Weekend coverage is not currently part of this role. Limited Saturday clinic hours may be introduced in the future and would be shared across the pediatric care team on a rotating basis.
Call Responsibilities:
This position includes limited call responsibilities required to support NCQA certification standards. Call structure and frequency will be clearly reviewed with candidates during the interview process.
Education & Certification Requirements
Physician Assistant (PA):
Completion of an ARC‑PA–accredited (or pre‑2001 CAAHEP) program
Current NCCPA certification required
Nurse Practitioner (NP):
Master’s, post‑master’s, or doctorate from a CCNE or ACEN‑accredited program
Current ANCC or equivalent national certification required
Pediatric certification preferred
Scope of Practice
The scope of practice and delineation of NP/PA privileges are credentialed and approved by the Chief of Medicine, Credentials Committee, Medical Executive Committee, Hospital CEO, and the Executive Board of AHMC.
Compensation
Compensation Range: $65.51–$87.35/hour
