Patient Service Specialist - Sleep Center - Part Time

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Patient Service Specialist is an integral part of the patient experience and a key contributor to delivering high quality customer service to our patients and visitors that is caring, consistent and reliable.  The incumbent provides administrative support in the clinic setting to patients and families, members of the care team and administrative leaders to ensure the smooth operation of the medical office including but not limited to patient check in & check out, appointment scheduling, phone support, referral processing, and maintaining environment of care standards. 

EDUCATION: H.S. diploma or equivalent required; Coursework in administrative or medical sciences preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Must have experience in a clerical setting, preferably in a medical environment.  Exceptional customer service experience required.  Must be able to work well in a team environment, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Experience managing complex scheduling structures is preferred.
