Acute Pain Services NP or PA - The University of Vermont Medical Center

Minimum Education & Experience:

• Requirements for Nurse Practitioners: RN and APRN currently (or eligible) licensed in VT. Successful completion of an approved NP program and certification required (FNP, ANP,  AGNP or  ACAGNP).

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, current or at time of start

• Requirements for Physician Assistant: Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Vermont. Academic preparation at the Masters level is required.

• 1+ years of Advanced Practice experience preferred, although highly motivated new grads with relevant experience will be considered.

Anesthesiology.

• Freedom to Act: Must act within the scope of practice.

• OSHA Exposure & Working Environment: (Refer to Attachments I and II)

• Confidentiality & Compliance: Uphold confidentiality and compliance, complete required competencies, training, and adhere to the code of conduct.
