The University of Vermont Health Network’s Employee Referral Bonus Program offers you up to $5000 award!*

$5,000 — RN, LPN, Respiratory Therapists, Rehab Therapists, Dialysis Technologists, Medical Technologists (includes Lab, Pharmacy and Radiology Techs)

$3,000 — LNA/CNA, CPSA, Medical Assistant, Clinical Care Associate, Mental Health Tech., EEG Tech, Surgical Tech, Phlebotomist

$2,000 — all other roles

$250 — all per diem roles

PLUS employees will receive an entry into a quarterly prize drawing for each referral they make.

*The referral bonus is subject to taxes and will be paid in two installments - 50% at 90 days of referral employment and 50% at 6 months. Referral bonuses are pro-rated 50% for part-time hours.

Participation and Eligibility Guidelines

Many of the new and most promising additions to our team are referred by current employees. The Employee Referral Program was developed to provide an incentive award to a current employee who refers quality candidates that are subsequently hired for designated open positions. Eligibility

  • Referral bonuses are distributed in the employees’ paycheck following 90 days (50%) and 6 months (50%) of employment by the referred employee.
  • Both the employee who made the recommendation and the employee who was hired must be employees of UVM Health Network at the time payouts are disbursed.
  • This program is designed for external hires only and does not apply to internal applicants.
  • Candidates must not have worked at any UVMHN affiliate within the past two years.
  • An employee at any affiliate within the Network can refer to any other affiliate and be eligible.

Exclusions

The following are not eligible to receive a referral award for recommending someone:

  • No leader at the AVP level or above can receive a referral award for recommending any hire.
  • No leader or physician that is in the same SUP Org as the referred new hire can receive the award.
  • No one that is employed in Human Resources can receive a referral award for recommending any hire.
  • Travelers already working at any affiliate cannot be referred for an award.
  • Temporary employees & consultants cannot be referred for an award.
