McClure Miller Respite House
Per Diem
The Hospice & Palliative Care LNA provides a full range of skilled LNA care to terminally ill patients at the McClure Miller Respite House or in a home care setting, under moderate to minimal clinical supervision, with a focus on patient centered care to meet the physical and emotional needs of patients, while educating and providing support to families.

Qualifications
- Vermont Nursing Assistant license
- Previous experience in a nursing home or similar facility desirable
- Some specific knowledge relevant to the types of medical care given
- Ability to converse clearly and comfortably with clients who are elderly, ill and/or incapacitated, and to explain/teach basic skills
- Ability to make basic assessments of client status, and to deal calmly and efficiently with emergency situations if necessary
