It will offer meaningful work experience and professional development for participants referred by state workforce entities and community-based organizations. The opportunity is designed to ultimately provide exposure to a diverse range of departments, positions, and experiences, fostering growth and career advancement for all individuals involved.

The Rotational Intern will be working with a department within the hospital, including but not limited to:

  • Administration: Gain exposure to hospital operations, including human resources, finance, and project management.
  • Facilities Management: Learn about facility maintenance, safety regulations, and environmental services.
  • Patient Services: Assist in patient support services, such as EVS, nutrition services, reception, patient transport, and hospitality.
  • Information Technology: Gain experience in IT support, software applications, and network management.
  • Supply Chain Management: Learn about inventory control, procurement, and logistics within a hospital setting.
  • Nursing and Allied Health:  Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care; learn about preparing and handling laboratory equipment and materials.
