JOB DESCRIPTION:  What does an LNA do?
The LNA-In-Training participant performs under the supervision of Licensed Nurse in direct services for the patients and assists in unit function.  Responsible for completing assigned duties and accountable to the Unit Manager and Charge Nurse. Functions within Nursing Department and CVMC/WDR policies and procedures.  Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Nursing Department and CVMC/WDR.

Course Schedule: 
The Didactic and Clinical components of the course will be held Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm. Following the completion of the course and after sitting for the LNA licensure exam, Trainees will then transition into their Full-Time roles on their assigned unit and work 3 12-hr shifts and every other weekend rotations.

EDUCATION: 
High School graduate or equivalent or working toward it.  Must be at least 18 years of age.

EXPERIENCE: 
Must demonstrate ability to follow instructions and a willingness to learn.
