Senior Rehab Therapy Aide

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Inpatient Rehab Therapy Aide coordinates the Acute Therapy Department's Rehab Therapy Aide services. They participate in the interviewing, hiring, and corrective action processes as appropriate. Contributes to the provision of therapeutic treatments by directly assisting with treatment, ensuring adequate inventory of supplies and materials, ensuring clean and safe treatment areas, providing clerical and other related support services as necessary at the care sites. The Senior Rehab Therapy Aide interviews and coordinates training of work-study students, and volunteers in the care sites with functional guidance from clinical leads and/or the Therapy Manager.

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

Three years' experience as an Inpatient Rehab Therapy Aide, or demonstration of skills to perform the duties within the job role in lieu of required years of experience.
