JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Manager, Anatomic Pathology is responsible for operational management of the Anatomic Pathology Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. This includes management of Cytology, Surgical Pathology, Autopsy Services, and Histology. Responsibilities include goal setting, facilitating the activities of team members and supporting coordination with Laboratory Administration, Laboratory Diagnostic Teams, and Laboratory Support Teams. Additional responsibilities include developing and administering budgets as well as monitoring case volumes and collaborating with appropriate medical directors to make changes as appropriate.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 6 years of work experience with at least two years in a leadership capacity.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate science field and Cytotechnology or Histotechnology national certification. Master's degree in appropriate field and or specialty certification preferred.
RELOCATION:
Eligible candidate will be offered a relocation package of up to $9,200. Subject to applicable taxes and must be moving from more than 50 miles from UVMMC. Not applicable to current staff of UVM Health Network. Certain restrictions apply.
