Inpatient and LTC Application Analyst Staff

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Inpatient and LTC Application Analyst provides support and maintenance of the software used by clinicians in the Inpatient and Long Term Care spaces across the UVM Health Network. The individual is responsible for developing expertise in the configuration of the electronic health records used in these areas along with other applications critical for patient care. Responsibilities include working with end-users, vendors and internal Information Services technical staff to configure, test, and maintain clinical applications.

This is a remote flex position. However, a willingness to regularly travel onsite to locations throughout the UVM Health Network is required and the ideal candidate will live within our hospital Network region. Periodic coverage for 24/7 on-call support for applications is expected.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or formal technical training or equivalent experience.
Epic clinical inpatient or LTC certification required or achieved within 120 days of hire with a maximum of three attempts.

EXPERIENCE:
3 or more years experience supporting clinical applications

OR

3 or more years working within a hospital inpatient or Long Term Care setting

PREREQUISITE:

Applicants who are not already certified in an Epic Clinical Application must pass a prerequisite screening exam prior to consideration for this position.
