What is an CNA?

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a healthcare professional who provides essential direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN). CNAs assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility, while also monitoring and reporting any changes in their condition to the nursing staff. They play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
