JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Patient Safety Attendant (CPSA) Lead reports to the Manager and/or Supervisor of CPSA/PSS. This role will assist with the onboarding of new CPSA staff members within the organization including but not limited to supportive roles such as scheduling time and spaces for onboarding, scheduling and tracking MOAB and PROACT trainings and certifications when applicable, and training staff on basic components of the CPSA position in addition to basic organizational onboarding support. The CPSA Lead may interact with and provide feedback to Unit Leaders on the progress of Unit Specific CPSA’s. This CPSA Lead Position is primarily administrative but at the direction of their leader may occasionally include functions of a CPSA. See below for Job summary of CPSA. 

The CPSA is responsible for specific aspects of direct patient care and monitoring focused of safety, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of AS degree in health care, mental health or human services related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous health care experience preferred. Pro-ACT crisis intervention and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training preferred.
