We're seeking a dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our growing team at the McClure Miller Respite House. You'll play a vital role in supporting terminally ill patients and their families during a difficult time, building meaningful relationships and seeing someone through their entire care journey.
The McClure Miller Respite House is a unique model in health care and Vermont’s only Medicare-certified inpatient hospice residence. Opened in 2016, the beautiful and peaceful 21-room house offers the feeling of home with a large living room, open kitchen, and spacious resident rooms. The latest technology and essential medical and supportive equipment are integrated within the design and invisible to residents and visitors creating a warm and comfortable environment.
What you'll do:
- Provide hands-on care to patients at the McClure Miller Respite House, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being.
- Build trusting relationships based on empathy, understanding, and respect for each patient's unique needs and preferences.
- Educate and support families, offering guidance and comfort.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care.
