General Summary:

The Certified Nurse Aide provides direct care to patients and residents, including assistance with hygiene and activities of daily living, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. CNAs perform those direct care duties that are permitted to be delegated to unlicensed personnel under the NYS Practice Act, New York State Long Term Care Regulations, facility policies, and nursing standards. Additionally, the CNA may perform unit support functions as assigned by a Registered Nurse and/or manager.

Qualifications:

Current (Active) New York State Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification

High school graduate or equivalent work experience, including the ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.

Successful completion of pre-employment screening and physical examination
