Supervisor Therapy - PT/OT - MOB, DR, CPP

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Therapy Supervisor for the Medical Office Building (MOB), Driver Rehabilitation (DR) Program and the Rehab Therapy Services provided at the Comprehensive Pain Program (CPP) provides day-to-day site management and professional practice leadership to a dynamic team of talented physical therapists, occupational therapists and support staff.

The Therapy Supervisor is responsible for staff management and budget management in consultation and collaboration with the Therapy Manager or Director. The Therapy Supervisor provides consultation to and collaboration with staff to ensure quality patient care, staff performance, systems improvement, clinical oversight and instruction. The Therapy supervisor supports effective communication between department leaders, care sites, and patient care teams. He/She collaborates with members of the multi-disciplinary health care team to oversee and continually improve patient care systems and processes. He/she also participates in planning and program development across Rehabilitation Therapies as well as other appropriate health care services.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's of Science or higher degree from an Accredited program related to the area of clinical practice of Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
• Ability to acquire appropriate certification/licensure according to state and national guidelines.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience with demonstrated progression in management responsibilities.
