This is a bargaining union position.
Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sleep Center Clinic Tech performs daytime procedures including: complex mask fittings, patient education visits, PAP machine downloads and adjustments, portable sleep apnea testing (outpatient/inpatient), home PAP titrations, scoring of PSG studies, MSLT and MWT studies, troubleshooting of equipment, QA activities, inventory, ordering, and other operational needs. The Day Tech is an experienced technologist, adept at all technical competencies (night/day), serves as a technical resource, and provides education and training to staff on best practice. This position is assigned to work primarily during the day shift with the occasional need for flexibility into the early evenings.
EDUCATION:
Associate's degree, preferably in a science field and/or successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sleep Technology Program, although a Bachelor degree is preferred, and/or 3-5 years of health care experience in a direct care position.
EXPERIENCE:
Applicant should be an experienced PSG technologist with excellent skills in the following: sleep study scoring, data acquisition, troubleshooting, bedside manners, mask fittings, and patient education. Preference for a lab-approved scoring technologist with RPSGT credentials and Tech II status.
