EPIC Credentialed Trainer

Job Summary:
The Epic Credentialed Trainer delivers Epic training to current and new personnel for implementation as well as ongoing training needs. This position requires an understanding of ambulatory and/or hospital clinical processes OR patient access and revenue cycle management, depending on need. The Credentialed Trainer assists the Principal Trainers with creating and maintaining end user training documentation. The Credentialed Trainer is also responsible for assisting the Epic Scheduling Coordinator and LMS Administrator with the maintenance of training records in the Learning Management System. The ability and means to regularly travel throughout the UVM Health Network is required.

Qualifications / Job Requirements:     
Education / Skills Required:
•    BA/BS or higher strongly preferred – Formal experience in training adult learners preferred Epic credentialing by Epic Training team required or achieved within 120 days of hire with a maximum of three attempts
•    Skill and experience in adult education/learning theory and practice and end user support – Years – Experience with Epic or another EHR
•    At least 5 years’ Experience required
