Med Tech - Team members in these medical laboratory jobs are responsible for independently applying clinical laboratory techniques in the performance of test procedures to obtain reliable diagnostic results form patient specimens. The Med Tech provides accurate, immediate reporting of test results, identifying, troubleshooting and resolving problems, instrument maintenance, documentation of problems, and following safe laboratory practices.

Phlebotomist - Team members in these medical laboratory jobs are responsible for collecting blood and other patient samples from inpatient and outpatient client population.

Histotech - Team members in these medical laboratory jobs are responsible for the duties of the Histology Laboratory, logging in, labeling and processing specimens, embedding, paraffin microtomy, cryostat microtomy, non-gynecological specimen processing, staining of slides, performing special stains and performing gross description of small biopsies according to protocol.
